The Young and The Restless is offering its viewers some really nail-biting suspense this week. Previously, we saw that Diane tried to convince Jeremy that she still wanted to be on his side. However, Jeremy demanded a loyalty test from Diane to believe her. He asked her to pull off a heist to prove she was still the bad gal he once knew in Los Angeles.
But Diane has left those days far behind her, and she runs to her Knight in shining armor, Jack, for help. Of course, he readily agrees to help her. But is Jack making a mistake by getting involved in a crime on The Young and The Restless? Will he end up paying the price behind bars?
Jeremy Asks Diane To Pull A Heist, Jack Makes A Plan With Diane
When Diane tried to convince Jeremy that she still wanted to be with him on The Young and The Restless, she was probably hoping that her charms would be enough. However, Jeremy proved to be a harder nut to crack and asked Diane to prove her loyalty to him by offering him some stolen wealth. This twist in the tale completely derailed Diane, and she ran to Jack for help. Jack is head over heels for Diane these days, so no wonder he agreed in a heartbeat to help her.
Jack offered to take the onus on his strong shoulders on The Young and The Restless. He wagered that they steal some prized jewels from Nikki Newman. Jack made the case that Nikki was too wealthy to feel the financial pinch of losing a few gems. Thus, it would be a safer bet to steal some jewels she has stashed in her Chicago apartment. An apartment the Newmans barely ever use and a place that Jack has visited before. He offers that he can easily slip in and out with the jewels, and none will be the wiser. The plan sounds fine on paper, but will Jack be able to pull it off?
Jack Makes A Wrong Move, Ends Up Getting Arrested On The Young And The Restless
Jack assured Diane that the plan to steal Nikki’s jewels from her Chicago apartment would be a feasible plan on The Young and The Restless. He insisted that he still remembered the alarm code to the pied-à-Terre apartment in Chicago from the time he visited it last with Nikki. Thus he will be able to enter without setting the alarm off. Moreover, since he had been there before, he knows his way around the building and will bend in with the crowd in there.
However, there is a lot that can go wrong here that Jack is not factoring in on The Young and The Restless. For one, The Newmans could have changed the alarm code. It has been a long while since he was there last. So he might set off the alarm and have the security on his in seconds. Even if he gets into the apartment, there is always a chance of him getting caught red-handed by a staffer or a Newman in the flesh. That would look really bad for Jack and definitely result in him getting arrested.
Do you think Jack is making a blind move on The Young and The Restless? His feelings for Diane have blinded him. Jack, despite being a business mastermind, is not seeing the loopholes in his own plan. Please share your views in the comments below.
