She started off as this uncontainable, unpredictable, self-sabotaging fire-cracker in Los Angeles. But her old ways cost her a lot. Thus, when she up and left her old life to start fresh in Genoa City, post crossover, we saw her as a toned-down version of her former self. However, Sally’s own spunk keeps resurfacing from time to time, yet we have to credit her for having matured over the years.
In fact, we are not the only ones to notice it! Sally portrayer, Courtney Hope admitted that Sally has grown a lot over the years. The Young and The Restless star also added that it is not easy being Sally. The red-headed diva constantly battles to overcome her past mistakes. When she first moved to Genoa City for a new start, she didn’t realize that her past will follow right behind her. At every corner of her way, her past plagues her career and relationships. And at every step, she keeps having to prove that she is not the same person she once used to be.

However, her trials and tribulations are far from over. Sally has possibly landed in the messiest situation she has ever been in, on The Young and The Restless. She is pregnant and doesn’t know who her baby-daddy is! It is one of the Newman brothers, Nick or Adam. But she is not sure, which one. Courtney teased that old Sally could’ve managed without knowing the paternity truth and continued with her life with her partner. However, the new Sally will not take that route. She is trying her best to be honest to herself and everyone around her. Sally will not take the path of deception.
The Young and The Restless star believes that Sally is in survival mode right now. She still has that never die spirit. Courtney insists that Sally has really matured over the years and has become comfortable in her skin and will not be defeated. She will face the truth and make peace with it, whatever it is. However, the actress did not give any hints about what that “truth” is. We guess we all will have to stay tuned to The Young and The Restless to watch Sally’s next big brave move on the CBS soap!
