Yellowstone Season 3 is renewed, even before the final episode of its second season. The last episode of Season 2 is just two days away, and fans are desperate to know what will happen to the Dutton Family. The updates on the third season are flaring, and it seems like the show-runners have already started working on the next installment.
The audience loved the debut season of Yellowstone. Even the current running season of the series is gaining quite much viewership. Because of the grand success of the first season, Paramount Network International didn’t even think about checking on the second season ratings and renewed it for the third run. Yellowstone had also been Paramount Network’s biggest scripted hit last year.
Yellowstone Season 3: Cast Updates
The final episode for the second season is yet to come. So, it is still not clear whether whom will survive and return in the next season. However, as per the reports, a batch of new characters is going to be added in Yellowstone Season 3. Karen Pittman (The Blacklist) has been reportedly joined the series. She will play Willa Hays, the CEO of Metro Capital. She is the cunning, smart businesswoman, who enters in the battle and gets what she wants.
Along with her, The Alienist star Q’orianka Kilcher will join the series as Angela Blue Thunder, a Native American opponent of Rainwater. Also, Josh Holloway and John Emmet Tracy will play Roarke Carter and Ellis Stelle, respectively. And finally, Jennifer Landon has joined Yellowstone Season 3 as Teeter.
Yellowstone Season 3: What will happen?
As per Deadline, Willa will propose an offer to John Dutton for the ranch. Also, the question is, will John accept that offer? If not, What will happen? However, as per the rumors speculating, the offer given by Willa would be something that John will not be able to refuse. Though it will be quite devastating for him, as in the entire series, John has done everything in his power to maintain every inch of his family’s ranch.
There is also one reason that John would likely take the offer. As of now, John Dutton is dealing with quite some financial crisis. Therefore, if Willa offers the right amount of money to John, maybe he will think to part with some portion of the Yellowstone Ranch. However, that will be utterly crushing for him.
Season 2 Recap (Spoiler Alert!)
The final episode of the second season is yet to be out. Therefore, the fate of Yellowstone season 3 is still not clear for the fans of the series. By the penultimate episode, the audience left all bewildering with the cliffhanging plot. The episode also confirmed that Tate Dutton (Brecken Merrill) had been kidnapped.
There are some promotional pictures surfaced for the final episode ‘Sins of the Father’ of the second season. In one photo, John and Kayce (Luke Grimes) are chatting about the situation and how to find Tate? In the picture, John is also wearing his badge. Therefore, it feels like John will use his power to deal with the situation, and that seems right too.
Another picture featured Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser) sharing a moment while they are in search of Tate. The two are holding hands and bonding. However, it is still not clear whether Duttons will be able to find Tate?
Yellowstone Season 3: Premiere Date
Both the seasons of Yellowstone released in mid-July of their respective years of release. Therefore, the third season would also likely premiere around July 2020.
