When Calls the Heart follows Elizabeth Thatcher, who is a teacher by profession. She comes to live in a small village called Coal Valley, leaving behind her lavish high society life. After she starts living there, she realizes that life at the coal valley is simple, but, at the same time, filled with various challenges. Elizabeth starts adjusting to these changes. In the process, she charms everyone except for Jack Thornton, the Police constable. Town takes up another name in the second season when the coal mine shuts down.
The sixth season of When Calls the heart features several complicated storylines. The end leaves all the viewers with a big cliffhanger, only craving for more.
