The Showrunners Reveal Details About The Upcoming Season
The showrunner of Westworld- Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, revealed recently that they have a rough plan for Westworld Season 2. They have had an idea about it since the very beginning of the show. Now that all the hosts have left the part, it is quite possible that the upcoming fourth season might act as the endpoint of the sentient robots. If that is the truth, then it is possible that the war against humanity will reach a climax leading to really big twists for the fourth season.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Nolan spoke about the themes for the third season; now we think that could also apply to the fourth season. Nolan says that he thinks that it is a radical shift. What he thinks is most compelling is that the characters are that they are not real humans. He says that, as they say on the show, humans are bound by the same loops as the hosts are.
Nolan says that nobody can expect humans to go through the kind of storyline that they are telling. The hosts have a quiet version of mortality, and they also have a different outlook. The showrunner says that he thinks that with Dolores, she is laid out. There is a longer view of her characters and a larger set of goals. These goals are existential. They span eons. Nolan says that the story is quite fascinating and engaging.
Cast Speaks About Westworld Season 4
Jeffrey Wright (Bernard) also spoke about his character and how that will affect his character afterward. In an interview with The Wrap’s Emmy Magazine, the actor says that Bernard will step into The Sublime, and then at some point, the character would step out of it. It looks like the character will have more clarity than he had until now. Jeffrey says that for Bernard, he will emerge from The Sublime after the pandemic is over. He will come out fully vaccinated. He will be all ready to start living a new life. While we don’t know where he is going, we know the fourth season will be very different.
When Will The Show Release?
Westworld isn’t clearly a very easy show to create. The sets, story, visual effects of the series require enormous investment. So, it is unlikely that we will get the show very soon. The creators have revealed every season of the show takes about 18-20 months of work. There was about two years’ difference between the air date of the second and the third season.
In an interview with Variety, Casey Bloys, the chief content officer of HBO and HBO Max, says that as Jonah and Lisa will tell everyone, he is always asking if we could get Westworld sooner? As the show is becoming bigger and more complicated, I think more time between the season is probably just becoming a thing.
We don’t know the exact release date of Westworld Season 4 as of now. However, we are sure that we will get it soon. We will keep you updated with all the news about the show as we get it. So, you stay tuned.
