They are coming together for a new series at FX called “Redeemer.” Earlier, Pizzolatto had a deal with HBO regarding True Detective.
In an interview with Eric Schrier of FX Entertainment shared his happiness of having Nic Pizzolatto and Matthew McConaughey on board for Redeemer. They have collaborated for the first time since True Detective. He said that they are very excited about the whole deal and look forward to more new projects with the duo.
Previously Pizzolatto was under an overall deal with HBO. Now that he has moved out of the network, questions around the fate of True Detective have started making rounds. The network has not commented on that yet.
Is The Show Renewed?
