Renewed in January 2019, The Kominsky Method Season 2 will be the upcoming season of comedy series on Netflix. The show stars veteran actor Michael Douglas as Sandy Kominsky, the acting coach in his late years in Los Angeles, along with his longtime agent and buddy, Norman (Alan Arkin).
Created by eight-time Emmy nominee Chuck Lorre (Two and a half men, The Big Bang Theory), The Kominsky Method is a half-hour, single-camera comedy series of Netflix. Chuck Lorre, Al Higgins and the lead of the show, Michael Douglas also serves as the executive producers of the series. The series is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television.
This year, the show is up for three Emmy Awards, including Lead Actor in a Comedy for Douglas and Supporting Actor for Arkin. The series also got selected as one of AFI’s TV Programs of the Year 2018. The Kominsky Method received quite positive reviews from the audience and the critics as well.
The Kominsky Method Season 2: Cast Additions
In February, Netflix released the cast details for The Kominsky Method Season 2. According to that, the fans will see quite a lot of new faces in the upcoming season. The list included Jane Seymour from Live and Let Die, Jacqueline Bisset from Bullitt and Paul Reiser from The Spy Who Dumped Me.
Jane will play the role of Madelyn, a woman in her seventies. She and Norman had a love affair in the past and is returning to re-tingle the moment again. Meanwhile, Bisset will play Gabrielle, Mindy’s (Sarah Baker) mom and Sandy’s (Douglas) French ex-wife. And Reiser joined the series as Martin, a sixty-something high school teacher who gets romantically involved with Sandy’s daughter.
Other than these new additions, Michael Douglas, Alan Atkin, Sarah Baker, and Nancy Travis will reprise their roles in The Kominsky Method Season 2.

Netflix also revealed some fresh looks of the characters from the upcoming season of The Kominsky Method. The pictures feature Kominsky and Norman along with the other joining cast from the next season.
The Kominsky Method Season 2: Plot Details
The Kominsky Method will see more of the duo, Sandy Kominsky, and his longtime agent Norman Newlander dealing with the ups and downs of life, altogether. The two are spending their aging years in Los Angles, the city unforgiving for the aging.
In The Komisky Method Season 2, Sandy will meet up with his daughter’s new boyfriend, played by Paul Reiser. The guy is pretty close to Sandy’s age, which is quite hard for a father to digest. Meanwhile, Norman will come along with a new character, Madelyn (played by Jane Seymour) from the past and will hit off. The two will decide to start again after 50 years.

Netflix set the premiere for The Kominsky Method Season 2 on October 25, 2019. The fans are eager to have all the fun with Kominsky and Norman.
