The series concluded its previous seasons with most of the loose ends being tied. In the final episode, the fans also witnessed the death of Dr. Neil Malandez. In a recent interview, Shore hinted the fans about The Good Doctor season 4. He said, “I don’t think we’ll have as many family members die, I hope. I think we’re going to be placing Shaun in more of a superior position in Season 4 and see how he tackles that challenge. And, of course, the relationship between Shaun and Lea will be a big part of it. As our tenants became more senior, the attendings got pushed to the backdrop to some degree, and we didn’t like that. So yes, we’re trying to figure out a way to keep the people we have—all of them—and make sure we give them material.”
Who Will Be In It?
All the members from the previous season won’t make it to the next season of this show. It is confirmed that Nicholas Gonzalez, who portrays the character of Dr. Neil Melendez will not join the cast of the fourth season. Jasika Nicole (Dr. Carly Lever) also won’t be making her comeback for the next season. She might give some cameos, but she won’t be coming as a series regular. Except for two them, all the members from the third season are expected to return for The Good Doctor Season 4.
