The Crown Season 3 is just days away from its premiere. Still, the show is not stoping to surprise us in the meantime as well. Recently, the new stills from the forthcoming season have arrived. They very well created the past moments from the actual time, involving Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince Philip, Princess Margaret, and more.
Previously, it was revealed that the filming for Season 3 and 4 of The Crown had been done simultaneously. That is why the show took almost two years to return. Also, the trailer for the upcoming season of The Crown has arrived lately. It featured Elizabeth struggling to maintain her household and the nation afloat using altering instances.

New Stills From The Crown Season 3
The stills came in teased a lot more about what will happen in the upcoming season of The Crown. That includes Prince Charles’ investiture and the beginnings of his tryst with Camilla. Also, the Queen and Prince Philips (Tobias Menzies) are seen at Winston Churchill’s funeral, in black outfits, mourning the loss of the legendary Prime Minister.
While fans will be thrilled to see bits from the crucial scenes, the show has come under sparkle in recent days. The Queen’s former press secretary threw her under the bus for suggesting that the monarch had an affair with Lord Porchester.
Olivia Colman of Being Queen
In a recent discussion, the Academy Award winner Olivia Colman shared her enthusiasm for being on board with The Crown Season 3. As she stated, “I have always been a fan of the Queen. I think, as a human being, she is marvelous and amazing. She is like a book, and my job is to do justice to the part. The more I researched for this part, the more I started respecting her. She has gone through so much. It is amazing.”
Colman has also played Queen Elizabeth II’s mother in Hyde Park on Hudson as well. And she is proud of a couple of queen jobs that she has done, but that did not deter her from playing a royal again.
The Crown Season 3: Plot Details
Both the upcoming seasons of The Crown will follow Queen Elizabeth’s life span from 1964 till 1976. The third season will look through Harold Wilson’s (Jason Watkins) two serving periods as the Prime Minister until 1976. The fans will also see the monarch growing her relationship with the Prime Minister, who served as head of the British government during that period.
Season 3 will also include the decolonization of Africa and the Caribbean, along with the birth of Prince Edward in March 1964, and Prince Charles’ movement into the public eye following his succession as the Prince of Wales in 1969.
