The Bold Type is one of the most successful shows of Freeform. And with its next run, The Bold Type Season 4, fans of the show are very much excited. The dramedy series of Freeform received the renewal in May 2019, while the third season of the show was still in the run.
The Bold Type is a comedy-drama series of Freeform, created by Sarah Watson. The show is basically inspired by the life and career of former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine, Joanna Coles. The show focuses on the lives of three millennial women, Jane Sloan, Kat Edison, and Sutton Brady. All those works for a fictional global publication named Scarlet. New Show-runner for The Bold Type Season 4
Previously, news came in that show-runner of the series, Amanda Lasher has stepped down from her responsibilities after the finale of the third season. Also, her shoes will be filled by writer Wendy Straker Hauser.
Also, Raven-Symone is going to feature in the upcoming season as Alice, as a beauty influencer. Moreover, Chord Overstreet (Glee) will guest star in the forthcoming run as Jane’s brother, Evan. Along with her, the main cast of The Bold Type is set to return.
The Bold Type Season 4: Plot Details
The young women of The Bold Type have gone through a lot by the end of the third season. Season 3 saw Sutton (Meghann Fahy) and Richard (Sam Page) moving in together. Moreover, she is also pursuing a career in the designer field. Also, Kat (Aisha Dee) has fallen for her campaign manager as she runs for the city council. Although, she loses the election at the end.
Further adding, Jacqueline (Melora Hardin) and Jane (Katie Stevens) work together on a complicated story throughout the season. And Ryan (Dan Jeannotte) has traveled the whole time for his book tour. The fourth season will continue to the same plot-line and will focus on the open-ended threads of the girls.
The fourth season would also find out if Jacqueline’s new mag will save her job or if Sutton made it as a designer.

This time, the fourth season of The Bold Type will be out much earlier. The fourth season is all set to be out on January 23, 2020.
