The Blacklist Season 8 Episode 16, titled “Nicholas Obenradar,” will follow Red’s struggle to infiltrate Townsend’s organization. Although the entire Task Force is coping with Red currently, they still have some doubts about Red’s allegiance. Apart from that, it’s too risky to send someone from the Task Force as Townsend can easily find them even in their disguise. So, it’s better to recruit a new person who can extract the valuable intel for Red.
As the promo teased, Red meets someone who appeared to be called Nicholas Obenradar. However, Red whispers that he’s here to offer a job that the person might think twice before taking. But while inquiring about the job, that person said he’s only willing to get a job no matter what it takes and how it looks. Will this behavior could help Red in his mission or turn out big trouble? Howbeit, Liz has found concrete evidence which hints at Red being N-13. But Townsend perhaps is not satisfied with that evidence. Thus Liz has to deeply search for more evidence to win Townsend’s trust. But, Red’s already working to infiltrate his operation, as he knows how secretive and suspicious Townsend is.
