The closing of season five saw some huge ups and downs. Monty and Harper got involved in a complex scenario. They have to leave their friends and family. They also desired their son Jordan to be raised by Bellamy and Clarke. Presumably, Monty and Harper have died. The upcoming season will revolve around a new planet.

However, we know that this planet is not so dangerous. A peaceful community inhabits it. The leads will try to nurture humanity on the positive side. However, challenges will come their way while doing so. Jason Rothenberg, the creator of the show, explained this new planet as – unlike anything they have encountered and unlike anyone, they have experienced earlier. Well! This adds a pinch of excitement in the whole scenario.
Is Season 6 Going To Be The Last Season Of The 100
Speculations have surfaced that Season 6 will lead to the conclusion of the series. However, certain things assure that this is not true. Moreover, showrunner Jason Rothenberg has also expressed his thoughts on this aspect.
Rothenberg told Nerdist that he had this idea for how he needed the series to end. However, it was scalable, and that conclusion could have been at the finish of season 3, it could be at the end of season 5, it could be at the finale of season 8. He added that these choices are not his. Although he doesn’t believe that this is a show that lasts for ten seasons.
Along with Rothenberg, CW president Mark Pedowitz also expressed his opinion. Pedowitz said that he doubts the post-apocalyptic drama will conclude after the forthcoming sixth season. He also added that he hopes that The 100 can go on for a long time.
Cast Of The 100 Season 6
Season 6 of The 100 will feature few new faces. J.R. Bourne will join the cast for Season 6. Bourne is known for his role in Teen Wolf. Bourne will portray the character of Russell. Russell is described as a pioneer and visionary who will face the tough moral choices indicative of the hard-hitting show. Russell is the leader of a peaceful community occupying the planet that Monty and Harper discovered for their friends. However, Clarke and Russell will have an intricate relationship in Season 6.
The lead cast of the show will return for Season 6. Shannon Kook as adult Jordan Green, Bob Morley as Bellamy and Eliza Taylor as Clarke. Along with them Marie Avgeropoulos as Octavia, Paige Truco as Abby, Lindsey Morgan as Raven, Lola Flanery as Madi, Adina Porter as Indra, and Tasya Teles as Echo will feature in the series.
