The fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, is full of mysteries and homes an entire alternate dimension. Upon the disappearance of a young boy, Will, a series of events cause much havoc in the lives of our characters.
By the Season 3 finale, our favorite group of kids finally win over the Mind Flayer. Well, the Stranger Things kids aren’t kids anymore as the battle becomes much more intense now. The fourth season of the show awaits another set of problems with a bunch of new characters.
Stranger Things Season 4: Renewal
Netflix is pretty proud of its well-performing sci-fi show. All three previous installments have worked pretty well for the streamer, commercially and critically. Hence, there was no reason to doubt Stranger Things Season 4’s fate. Fans were all certain that the series deserves to be back for another run.
Eventually, the streamer soon announced the official renewal. Besides greenlighting it, Netflix also released a short teaser on its social media handles. The video reveals that the Stranger characters won’t be Hawkins anymore. This opens doors for fans to come up with interesting theories for where we might be going in Stranger Things Season 4.
Stranger Script Revealed By Netflix!
Upon Will Byer’s disappearance anniversary, November 6, 2019, Netflix decided to celebrate #StrangerThingsDay. On the occasion, the streamer decided to surprise its fans with a picture of the front page of Episode 1’s script. Fans went crazy after the photo went online. This hints Season 4 scripts are ready, and the installment may soon get into production too.
Strangely, the episode is titled “The Hellfire Club.” Besides, the caption on the post mocks by asking that they’re looking for members and if anyone wants to join in.
What Is The Hellfire Club?
As of now, we haven’t heard about anything related to the Hellfire Club on the show yet. Originally, the term dates back to the 18th century. As per the Wikipedia page, these were exclusive clubs for members of the high society or “persons of quality” in British and Ireland. The group included people who took part in activities that the society believes to be immoral.
Well, without context, it’s hard to predict what the club would mean in the Stranger Things Season 4. However, it’s expected to be another set of evildoers that may be conspiring against the wellbeing of humans. The Stranger kids have given silly names to creatures previously, and this might be another one of the same.
When Will Stranger Things Season 4 Release?
Stranger Things installments usually take a lot of time to be back on screens. The latest one took two years to return in July 2019. As of now, Netflix is yet to reveal any official information related to the release. Although, as per speculations, Stranger Things Season 4 may take around the same time as the third season and premiere around mid-2020.
Unlike other popular shows, Stranger Things has been consistent with the quality of content throughout all three installments. However, this has resulted in increased expectations from the stranger fandom. Hence, the Duffer Brothers may have to update their game this time and give us an even better Season 4.
