Wentworth Miller revealed in an interview that the Idea was that Michael would come back and live his normal life but with the paranoia that the things will not remain this good for long. Unfortunately, that wouldn’t be able to come onscreen, so the audience will have to understand it with the subtext. Michael has come home, but he isn’t at peace. Talking about the season finale, Miller says that Michael has been living a nightmare for years, and now he has come back, back from the dead.

He posted an image that said that Even though he has turned old, he still loves everyone. The actor says that even if he was able to play mad guy on a prison break, he pays much respect for writing Lincoln so amazingly and making the fancy character. He said that he apologizes for getting old, but he does not know how to stop it.
