Outlander Season 5 is all set to premiere in the upcoming month. Starz’s Outlander got its renewal for its 5th & 6th Season in the previous year. The production of Season 5 is complete and is set to release. Last time fans saw their favorite characters on 27 January 2019. Fans are excited to see their beloved Claire & Jamie on the screen again.
Outlander is the drama TV series created by Ronald D. Moore. It is the remake of Diana Gabaldon’s historical time travel book series of the same name. Official Synopsis of Season 5
Roger (Richard Rankin) told in an interview that “Season five, we essentially pick up where we left them, there’s a little passage of time, but a lot is going on for all of the cast, and there’s a lot of new relationships to be forged.”
Starz network releases the official synopsis of Outlander Season 5. It reads, “As Claire knows all too well, friends, neighbors, and countrymen are unconsciously marching towards Revolution, with members of the elite ruling classes struggling to smother the alarming. Against this backdrop, which soon declares the birth of the new American nation. Claire and Jamie are asking themselves “How far they are willing to go to protect their home?”
Outlander Season 5: Plot Details
As mentioned above, the events of Season 5 will pick up after the cliffhanger finale of Season 4. In the finale, the fans saw Jaime receives an order to kill his godfather. He receives this order from the Governor. Producer of the Outlander, Toni Graphia, reveals that “While season four was about home, season five will focus more on the theme of family.”
The Season 5 of Outlander finds the Frasers fighting for their family and the home they have shaped on Fraser’s Ridge. Jaime needs to find a way to protect all these he has created in America. He also needs to protect those who seek strength and leadership from him. Jaime deals with all these things while hiding his relationship with his godfather, Murtagh. Claire Fraser will use her medical knowledge to protect themselves from destroying once again. However, while concentrating on protecting others, she forgets what it means to protect herself.

Starz announces the official return date for the fifth season of Outlander. The show will premiere on 16 February 2020 but only in America. However, the episode will be available on Amazon Prime on 17 February 2020 in the UK.
