Count Down For Kingdom Season 2 has begun. The zombie period drama streamed the first season in January 2019. Since then, fans are waiting for the supernatural thriller web series back on the screens. The Kingdom is a South Korean show which is based on the webcomic series The Kingdom Of The Gods.
The story of the Kingdom revolves around the Joseon dynasty. An epidemic turns the whole Kingdom into hell, and it grows tensions within the realm. The crown prince has to leave the Capital, and then he knows many secrets. The visuals once thrilled the fans, and now it will soon back again.
Kingdom Season 2: Motion Teaser Released!
The Crown Prince Lee Chang seems to be more determined in the teaser. He is tougher to fight for his people and to protect them from the growing army of zombies. Cho Hak-Ju remains power-hungry in the upcoming season. Seo-Bi is on a verge step forward with a resurrection plant, and Mu-Yeong is resolute to look after Chang. While Yeong-Sin is fiercer than ever, further, Beom-Pal can also be seen in the teaser.
Also, the Queen’s character seems to be in an expressionless mode. More, Prince Lee Chang continues his journey back to Hanyang. He is returning in the quest to find out the roots of the plague. How will he beat the epidemic?
Poster Explained!
The streamer also released the poster of the Kingdom Season 2. The poster features the main characters with priority. It depicts them fleeing from the rapidly growing zombies. The poster reminds the fans of season one finale- ended with the same cliffhanger scene. The army of zombies is ready for the destructive attack. Regardless of taking the break of dawn, the zombies don’t sleep in the daytimes anymore.
The tagline states-“Blood Will Spill.” It indicates the alarm for everyone who is struggling for their lives, but they don’t have options left. The characters are pronounced hopeless; however, they remain determined to fight.
Kingdom Season 2: Cast Details!
The head of the Royal Commandery Division, Min CHi-Rok, is joining the cast. He will increase the tensions while investigating a suspicious. As featured in the trailer, the whole old cast is returning along with him. They will battle for survival against the infectious disease. Will the comrades win?
Kingdom- A Glimpse!
The previous season of the Kingdom consisted of six episodes only, and the story revolves around the Joseon period in Korea. The Crown Prince involves in some political conspiracy. He forcefully has to leave the Capital. Chang then investigated the man who was treating his dying father. Later, he discovers that the Doctor created the plague, which turned into an epidemic across the country.
Release Date!
Netflix has announced the release date for the Kingdom Season 2. It is set to release on the 13th of March 2020. Just a month to go for your favorite zombie drama. The first teaser is out, as we mentioned above. However, the trailer for the series is still awaited. Stay tuned for more news updates!
