Hunters Season 2: It is sporadic when a show starts receiving renewal updates just after the inaugural season’s premiere. Somewhat similar has happened with Amazon’s Hunters Season 2. The Al Pacino starred Hunters’s first season had just hit out TV screens on 21 February 2020. And now in no less time, the show is near to its sequel. However, the first season has received a positive response.
And the rumors for the second season is no surprise. However, the base of these speculations is the statement given by the creator himself. “Oh my god, I have five seasons mapped out if I’m lucky enough to get a second season. There are so many stories to tell. I’m dying to tell them. And I’m ready,” creator David Weil told the press.
Moreover, various Amazon Prime shows like ‘The Boys,’ ‘Hanna‘ and ‘Carnival Row‘ have been renewed for their second season. But ‘Too Young To Die Soon’ has been canceled for its upcoming season. However, the fans of Hunters are waiting for the official confirmation. Yes! Amazon still has to give an official green light to Hunter season 2. But keeping the craze and online poles in mind, this doesn’t seem too far.
What To Expect From Hunters Season 2?
What we have seen so far, Jonah has killed the ghost. And so we know that Pacino will never come back. But the titular squad is shocked by the revelation. And that can be the beginning of a new season. In the parrel universe, we know that Joe met with an accident. Later, he’ll be kidnapped and will be deported to Argentina, which means that Adolf Hitler is alive! Moreover, his wife Eva Braun, played by Lena Olin, is part of Hunter season 2.
So, the upcoming season of Hunters is open to varies chapters and conclusions. Hence, the storyline of season two will not only be exciting but will also open gates for further seasons to come. For the record we know, that numerous real-life, high-ranking Nazis did indeed escape to Argentina after World War 2. But it’ll be exciting to see how the story further unfolds.

Based on historical events, Hunters portrays the story of Nazi hunters in the 1970s. The inaugural season explores the consequences of an operation called Paperclip. It is a real-life program through which several German scientists migrated to America. But they aim to help the United States during the time of World War. However, the show leads through an alternative history approach. There are many flashbacks to Auschwitz during World War II. This leads to survivor Meyer Offerman forming a Nazi-hunting Team. Later on, he’s joined by Young Jonah Heidelbaum and Ruth.
The First Season Received Good Response Despite Some Controversies!
The first season of Hunters premiered just a week ago. And up till now, the show has received excellent reviews. Hunters is declared hit after the Rotten Tomatoes Ratings. The series also has an impressive ensemble cast. And they too have been praised lately. On the whole, the series clearly has the potential for a multi-season run.
However, the first season of Hunters is also surrounded by controversies. Auschwitz Memorial Museum isn’t pleased with the portrayal of Auschwitz. They tweeted a photo of the pilot from Hunters season one. It depicts Nazi soldiers playing an inhuman game of chess using their prisoners as game pieces. The memorial museum said that a fictionalized version of Auschwitz was “dangerous foolishness.”
Hunters Season 2 Release Date
David Weil is the creator of the series ‘Hunters.’ And the show is based on historical events but includes fictional twists. In addition to that, Jordan Peele is the Co-Producer of the show. However, the show is yet to receive an offical release date. But the production and filming can be done by the end of this year. So, we can expect Hunters Season 2 to hit our TV screens by summer 2021. And just like the first season, the upcoming season can also have ten episodes.
