The happenings at Greek Street will intensify the drama this year. ITV Encore and Hulu collectively came up with Harlots Season 3 after receiving positive feedback from the fans. The renewal news came on 24 September 2018. The show took a dark subject matter to portray human selfishness and morality for survival, business, and wealth. The harsh reality of the past and the history of the subject matter is what attracted the fans to the series.
The period drama depicts the plight of the women community of London in the late 18th century, where most of them had only two options to flourish financially. Either they could get married in an affluent family or sell their body in brothels. The closure of brothels in one area leads Margaret Wells, a brothel businesswoman, to shift her business to Greek Street, a rich locality, where her rival Lydia Quigley would be an obstacle.
The fans would now be thinking about the fate of Margaret’s new business and how will it grow in a new neighborhood. But they would soon discover all of it in the next season.
Harlots Season 3: Lady Isabella & Charlotte’s Romance Is On
Love was not even in the frame in this terrifying series. But the fans saw the first moment of compassion between Charlotte and Lady Isabella Fitzwilliam. Although it was a small scene, they happen to depict Lady Isabella and Charlotte with conviction. The genuine friendship that the two women formed while trying to take down Lydia in Season 2 was beautiful to watch.
The duo has decided and so have the fans to not let the show get away without having a power couple. The viewers can feel the on-screen connection and chemistry between the two. The upcoming season brings the Pincher brothers as the new enemies of the women. Game of Thrones actor Alfie Allen is playing the role of Isaac Pincher, while The Hamilton actor, Ash Hunter will be playing his brother, Hal Pincher. Charlotte Wells will be fighting for power in the London prostitution scene facing these new wealth-driven hustlers in town. A threatening voice in the trailer says that your presence will cause a scandal. It means the situation is going to get ugly.
The new season will pick up from where it left in Season 2. It will follow Charlotte’s struggle to keep her mother’s brothel up and running as she faces competition from the Pincher brothers, Isaac and Hal. The brothers own a bar, Saracen’s Head, which serves as a spot for their sex trafficking business. Charlotte makes friends as well as foes while running her family business.
Although Lydia Quigley has been sent to Bedlam, Charlotte still has to contend with her back door influence. In Harlots Season 3, Hal and Emily Lacey would begin a relationship. The two share an aspiration to achieve something worthwhile, so it will be exciting to watch how things turn out.
