William Zabka Is Teasing Fans
In an exclusive interview with PopCulture.com, Zabka revealed that the show is going to be much more profound and broader with its story. When asked about the cliffhanger at which the second season left, Zabka told that there’s a lot to clean up. As he stated, “All the characters at this point in some sense are broken, and there’s a lot of storylines that need to be continued.”
Also, according to data provided by Parrot Analytics to Variety, the third season has most recently outdone all of its streaming competition with its story. The actor is not only humbled by the journey that the show brought after 35 years later but also astonished how well the first-generation fans and the new ones received the show.
Cobra Kai Season 3: John Will Return All Vice
The third season will also feature the return of one of the favorite characters of the movie franchise, John Kreese (Martin Kove). The character will restore its original “no mercy” credo. Kreese has served as an unforgettable antagonist in the iconic three-film franchise. Zabka also commented that Johnny (Zabka’s character) is not done with Kreese.

After teasing a bit about the third season, Zabka added that as of this point, he doesn’t have the full view yet of the upcoming season. This is because the writers just started carving out the first episode of Season 3 this past Memorial Day. The writers are in the writing room, and they’ve told him a little bit here and there.
What Will Happen In The Upcoming Season
The second season of Cobra Kai saw a ravishing rivalry between Johnny (Zabka) and Daniel (Macchio). Daniel has started up his own karate dojo, Miyagi-Do. The primary purpose of this was this to put an end on the influence created by Cobra Kai all across San Fernando Valley.
Being the rivals, the tension between the students of both the dojos concluded into a harsh fight. As a result of this, Daniel’s wife Amanda (Courtney Henggeler) decided to strike out all the karate from their lives. Also, Kreese, the instructor at Cobra Kai, betrayed Johnny and changed the course of Cobra Kai dojo.
Cobra Kai will continue where the second season had left off. As in the final episode of the previous season, Robby (Tanner Buchanan) confronted with Johnny that he and Daniel could learn a lot from each other. This means that the third season will likely put aside the eternal, decade lasted rivalry between Johnny and Daniel. They will work together for the common good of all the students and set up the best of Karate Kids ever.
Cobra Kai Season 3 Release Date
The series is following a set pattern for the release of its all seasons. The first season of Cobra Kai debuted in early May 2018, followed by next season in April end 2019. Therefore, Cobra Kai season 3 would likely premiere in the spring of 2020. However, the official announcement is yet to be made by YouTube.
