Productions for the sixth season began soon after the Season 5 premiere. The cast and crew are currently filming for the installment. Lead actor Titus Welliver is pretty active on Twitter and keeps his fans informed of his schedule on set. As of now, they are yet to conclude the shoot.

Fans of Michael Connelly’s books are always excited to know which book will the television series pick up. The fifth installment inspired its story from his 2017 novel Two Kinds of Truth. Bosch Season 6 will be based on another bestseller that released back in 2007 called The Overlook. On the other hand, it may also have a few elements from 2018’s Dark Sacred Night.
The 2007 novel focused on terrorism, while Bosch Season 6 will involve domestic terrorism. As per Connelly, the installment will take serious turns this time. He promises that it will be fulfilling and fans will like the latest changes.

Although, as per Deadline, actress Julie Ann Emery is cast in a recurring role in the upcoming installment. She will play, Sylvia Reece, one of the FBI agents brought in to investigate a murder on Bosch’s turf. Emery was last seen on AMC’s popular show, Better Call Saul.
