Big City Greens is an American adventure-comedy animated TV series. Houghton Brothers created this show for Disney Channel. The show made its debut on June 18, 2018. It ran for 30 episodes, which ended on March 9, 2019. The fans saw the premiere of its second season on November 16 of the same year, which is still running and soon return from a break.
Big City Greens Season 3: Renewed By Disney!
The fans of Cricket Green and his family should be happy because he will come back for more entertainment. Disney Channel has already renewed the animated show for its third season even before its second season’s completion. Shane Houghton confirmed this news by posting a tweet. The show follows Cricket Green and his people as they travel from the country to the eponymous big town. The fans are very happy after hearing the confirmation of Big City Greens Season 3 and now just can’t wait to see its premiere.
After the renewal, Shane and Chris Houghton, in a joint statement, said, “We are delighted to be expanding our relationship with Disney. They have been very supportive of us and our crazy concepts, and we are looking ahead to continuing to grow Big City Greens as well as produce new and exciting projects together.”
Houghton Brother Signed A New Deal!
According to a report by Deadline, the Hougton brothers inked a new deal with the Disney Television Animation. Under the new deal, the brothers will continue to make the new seasons of Big City Greens and will also create new animated series and short films for Disney+ and Disney Channel. So, the fans can expect to see a lot more new content from the duo on the Disney network.
After the renewal and this new deal, Meredith Robert, General Manager of TV Animation at Disney Channel, released a statement. He said, “Chris and Shane have a wonderfully unique vision for characters and stories with both humor and heart, and we’re especially pleased to continue working with them on more Big City Greens and other creative ventures.”
Big City Greens Season 3: Release Date
We will get the idea about the release of its third season only after the completion of its second installment. The second season will return with its 21st episode titled “Chipacolypse Now” on January 16, 2021. There are slight chances that the fans might see the premiere of Big City Greens Season 3 by the end of this year.
