This show follows the story of Tony, who is struggling with immense sadness after the death of his wife. The creators neither confirmed nor canceled the third season of this show. Netflix usually takes a month or two before renewing the show for another season. In a recent interview, Ricky Gervais shared his thought on the third season. He said, ” I don’t know about season three. But what I’ve said is, for the first time ever, I would do the third season because the world in the show is so rich.”
He added “I love the roles. I love all the actors in it and I love my character. I love the city, I love the ideas and the dog. So I would do a third one. But it’s got to be a real – it’s got to be a real demanded-for encore. I’m not going just to do it.” So its more likely that Netflix will order After Life Season 3. The fans can expect the official announcement by June 2020.

In a recent interview, writer and actor, Gervais said that “In debut season, of course, it demonstrated why he was like the way he was, and it got him compassion. In season two, we realize what he lost. It was an ideal relationship. And the more joy it was, the sadder it is now. It’s such rich humor, the wife he’s lost, and all the guilt, and moving on, and her versus someone else. “
In the second season, the fans saw Sandy, who shared some troubles not known by her mates. The creators will like to explore more of her thread in After Life Season 3. In an interview, Mandeep said “If there were a season three, I’d quite want Sandy to be on the top. I’d like her to have a few victories. I don’t know what wins they would be. It’s whatever Ricky decides, I guess. But it’d be good for her to start seeing a change in her life.”
