We’re slowly reaching the release of 13 Reasons Why Season 4. The cast and crew have finally wrapped productions. As of now, the 13RW celebs are hanging out with each other while enjoying the final filming moments of the show. Well, now that the new season is almost at the door, here’s everything we know about it yet.
13 Reasons Why remains to be one of the most controversial shows on Netflix. It began with telling an intricate and sensitive story based on Jay Asher’s novel with the same name. Upon its debut, the series received immense amounts of love from millions of followers around the globe. However, with every passing installment, several storylines became bizarre. In fact, viewers heavily criticized the third outing due to some questionable plot twists. Well, 13RW’s fanbase is still hopeful about the upcoming season, and we hope it gets better this time.
13 Reasons Why Season 4: Production Wrap!
Our favorite set of cast members have finally wrapped up the shoot of 13 Reasons Why Season 4. The last production wrap of the show was emotional for the actors. Most of them, including lead actor Dylan Minnette, shared the news on their social media accounts. Minnette reveals that the final installment is going to be an emotional one. Will These Characters Return In Season 4?
Season 3 finale of the popular Netflix series left us hanging with some crazy cliffhangers. While it’s clear that most of the characters are returning to the fourth installment, we’re still confused about the rest of them. Unlike the most favorite Hannah Baker, we hope these characters will show up for the last season.
Montgomery de la Cruz aka Monty
After Bryce Walker, Monty (Timothy Granaderos) sure is the most monstrous villain on the show. The third season redefined his character arc while explaining his past in detail. The final moments of the finale episode took insane turns when we get to know that Monty was killed in jail. Apparently, some guys in prison beat him up because he was gay. Well, despite everything evil he did, the character didn’t deserve the gruesome death.
His first boyfriend ever, Winston (Deaken Bluman), confronted Ani Achola (Grace Saif) in Season 3 finale. He insisted that Monty was a human being, and he didn’t deserve to die this way. Well, the breakout character may seek justice for Montgomery in 13 Reasons Why Season 4. Hence, we may get to see Monty in a few flashbacks while he was inside the prison. Well, since Timothy Granaderos was filming for the new season, we’ll certainly see some of him in the latest episodes.
Bryce Walker
We’ve previously seen some dead characters return on the show (Hannah in Season 2). Hence, chances suggest that this controversial character may come back in some form, as well. As per the way S3 ended, it isn’t hard to guess that visions of Bryce’s death would haunt Alex and/or Jessica. Whereas his mother, Nora Walker, needs some closure too. On the other hand, Justin Prentice, the actor who plays the antagonist, was filming 13 Reasons Why Season 4 too.
What Will Happen Next Season?
Like the previous season, 13 Reasons Why Season 4 may turn out to be much different from what we all assumed. However, some of these plotlines will certainly be discussed. For example, Winston may become a danger for the alibis of Bryce’s murderers. Moreover, Clay, Tony, and everyone else may face the repercussions of helping Tyler.
On the other hand, now that Clay and Ani have sorted things between them, the two of them may begin dating in 13 Reasons Why Season 4. Whereas Jessica and Alex may fall into a series of legal consequences for their crime. In the midst of all this, another mystery may rise around the lives of Liberty High School students.
13 Reasons Why Season 4: Release Date
Netflix’s teen show follows a weird release pattern. Ever since it debuted back in March 2017, the series returned to the screens after a 14 months gap. The third outing premiered in August 2019. Considering that filming for 13 Reasons Why Season 4 is under the wrap, new episodes may debut sometime between August 2020 to October 2020.
