13 Reasons Why Season 3: Spoilers, Release Date & Plot Expectations

Netflix

13 Reasons Why gave us more than 13 reasons to love the show and each one of them has a special place in our hearts now. Netflix’s controversial series brings upon several issues that others do not even try to touch. Hannah has passed, and as fans, we’ve let her go. Moreover, we now know that the series will center around other characters that bear much importance to the drama today. Their lives will drastically change in 13 Reasons Why Season 3 and here’s everything you need to know about it.
Hannah Baker became fan favorite after the show debuted back in March 2017. 13 Reason Why is an emotional and heart-whelming show about teen suicide and the way it affects lives. Clay Jensen remains the most suspiciously relatable character to a lot of fans around the globe. Not just Clay, fans have also felt some overwhelming relations with characters like Tyler, Jessica, Justin, and others.
After Hannah’s departure from the show, 13 Reasons Why Season 3 will be a huge milestone for the viewers. Until now, the series of events somehow revolved around her. It will be interesting to watch how the focus shifts to other characters in the drama. Hence, here’s everything that may happen in the upcoming installment.

13 Reasons Why Season 3: Where Is Tyler?

As we approached the finale of the previous season, Tyler Down was seen pointing guns towards a building full of high school students. In front of him was Clay Jensen trying to convince Tyler to drop the intention of hurting anyone. Luckily Tyler did indeed dismiss his rage and was taken away by Tony seconds before the Police could’ve reached the place. However, the guns were left with Clay, and we fear that he may get the blame on his head.

Clay may get the blame of attempting the school shooting. However, other characters such as Justin and Jessica may stand witness against the same. The Police may begin to search Tyler, following a series of interrogations. As of now, we don’t have any idea where Tony took Tyler to. Also, we hope that it’s someplace safe. Although, it’s pretty clear that the upcoming installment will follow Down’s search and the controversies around it.

13 Reasons Why Season 3: Clay’s Mental Health

All of the 13RW fans will surely agree that Clay needs literal mental help this time. The character has been through a lot, and after Season 2 finale, we want him to approach a therapist. The next season is likely to feature his healing process. Moreover, as now Clay has let Hannah go, Season 3 may feature his struggles in moving on (hopefully better than he did last time).
On the other hand, we may even get to see a new love interest or close friend to Clay that may help him move on. The character will play a significant role in his healing process. We hope that Clay looks forward to starting a whole new life again.

Justin’s Step Dad And Addiction

Season 2 made us potentially root for an overlooked Season 1 character, Justin Foley. He indeed made a lot of mistakes which affected many lives around him. Although life turned harsh for him as well. By the second season, Justin and Clay developed a likable bond, and the Jensen family happily adopted Justin as their second child.

However, Justin couldn’t resist his drug addiction and ended up taking another injection after everything the Jensens did for him. On the other hand, his violent stepfather seems to have been stalking him as per a scene in the last episode. We highly doubt that he may return and attempt to harm Justin and the Jensen family.

13 Reasons Why Season 3 Release Date

13 Reasons Why debuted with a blast of controversies back in March 2017. However, the fans were pretty anxious for the release of Season 2 which came out by May 2018. As of the upcoming installment, it is officially announced that it will arrive by 2019 on Netflix. Moreover, as per speculations, Netflix may soon drop the season towards the end of Summers 2019.
There are lots and lots of things that happen to young people but aren’t generally talked aloud. It’s difficult to find characters and shows that dare to speak about such issues out in front of everyone. Many of the teenagers today, if not as severe, but have seen or been through things similar to either of the 13RW characters. Hence, it’s empowering and gratifying to have these topics reaching out to a much larger audience.
