The Young and the Restless spoilers of January 17, 2022, reveal that we’re set for what looks to be an exciting episode of the start of a Newman Civil war. We’re going to get some recap of old storylines, but a few fun possibilities are coming our way in the coming episode. First, Victor will take steps to safeguard himself and his legacy while Adam questions Victoria’s motives. Finally, Devon and Abby have a confrontation.
The Young And The Restless: Victor To Safeguard His Legacy
Starting off the episode will be Victor. He will want Michael to accept his job offer. He wants to approach Baldwin to be Newman Media’s legal counsel. Victor will want to safeguard the fashion platform and also the whole Newman legacy that Victor has built. So, he will take action for that. Not only that, but Victor might also discuss his concerns related to Ashland’s recovering health. He will feel the need to investigate and protect himself from his son-in-law just in case.
Victor will push Michael to help him; Baldwin might consider his job offer as he has retired from the post of GC’s district attorney. Michael will help Victor look into Ashland’s health and have questions related to his fast and inexplicable recovery.
Adam Questions Victoria
More on Newman feuds, Adam Newman will think about family and business. He will question his sister’s motives behind her plans on acquiring Newman Media so badly. Adam will think that this is related to some personal issue that Victoria is holding against him.
Furthermore, We will see Adam warning Victoria and Ashland about Victor in the upcoming episode. This might also give Adam and Victor the same motive as they will observe Ashland very closely. Y&R fans know that Ashland has many secrets buried so, Adam might use them against Victoria.
The Young And The Restless: Devon And Abby To Have A Confrontation
Monday spoilers reveal that Abby will be furious over Devon Hamilton’s decision to take the custody battle to court. Abby will feel like Devon is being heartless by completely ignoring his primary goal. Devon wanted to help Abby build a family with Chance, but he is not keeping his promise.
Devon will claim that Abby and Chance are not capable of being good parents to Dominic. And, Devon will also highlight that Chance has not been himself since his return and his psychological condition is not good. Devon also adds that Chance’s mental health will affect the baby. However, Abby will tell him that she is a loving mother. She will also add that Dominic has a skilled nanny and great grandparents who love and care for him.
Abby will think that Chance should be cut some slack after being through so much, and he is also trying to abide by his duty as a good father. Abby will also clarify that Devon cannot come between Dominic and Chance’s bonding. Nevertheless, Devon will stand firm on his ground and take everything to court if required. As for Chance, he will somewhat agree with Devon’s concerns; Chance’s insecurities are taking a toll on him.
