Ever since the Hook Killer massacres started on General Hospital, there have been many speculations regarding who could be behind the mask. Sometimes the speculations were regarding the killer’s gender; sometimes, it was about the motives. Over the months, the makers threw many red herrings our way. But the mystery behind the killer’s identity is still intact. Moreover, it sort of keeps deepening with every new lead. Now an entirely new string of speculations have surfaced on the internet, and it seems like there could be not just one but THREE Hook Killers! Keep reading to find out how the theory fits the story!
Is Heather Webber REALLY The Hook Killer?
After months of racking our heads over who the wretched hook-wielding psycho could be, General Hospital gave us the answer! On the fateful night of Britt’s unfortunate death at the Hook Killer’s hands, the psycho got injured. Later, in the killer’s lair, the bloodthirsty criminal took off the mask to reveal themselves as Heather Webber! At first, we were all stunned into silence, but later the revelation started to nag at us. It just didn’t feel right. Moreover, it didn’t fit the timeline on the soap.
The dreadful killings started way ahead of Heather learning the truth about Esme being her daughter on General Hospital. Thus, it would make zero sense for her to target Esme’s enemies without knowing the relationship. Hence, it’s only plausible for Heather to be guilty of targeting Joss and killing Rory and Britt. Because these are the only attacks that happened after Ryan told her the truth. She only did these murders to deflect the blame from her daughter Esme. But if she is not the real Hook Killer, who could it be? And does that mean more bodies will fall?
The Serial Killer And The Copycats On General Hospital
The only way Heather could be guilty of all attacks, starting from Ava’s, is that she always knew about Esme being her daughter. So General Hospital would have to go back and change history. But, if that’s not the case, then we are definitely dealing with more than one killer. The Original Hook Killer and its copycats. The whole string of murders started by the attack on Ava at the Quartermaine BBQ. Fans are speculating that the person behind the attack has to be Mason Gatlin. The professional criminal may have attacked Ava with the hook that he may have chanced upon at the scene, and during the first attack, the weapon was not of the same significance that it holds today.
Interestingly, Ava recently helped Austin with his situation with Mason on General Hospital. So the three of them could be getting pulled into each other’s orbits just to facilitate that very revelation and make it all the more explosive when it comes forth. GH fans almost unanimously believe that Mason is Ava’s attacker. Meanwhile, another interesting theory throws a second copycat killer in the mix! So there is a possibility that there have been not one or two, but three Hook Killers in Port Charles. Fans believe that Brando and Diane could’ve been attacked by one of Victor’s minions. While Mason targeted Ava and Heather hooked Rory and Britt.
