EastEnders is taking viewers by storm with its current ongoing storyline. For a while now, the BBC soap was shrouded in mystery regarding George Knight’s missing wife, Rose Knight’s real identity, and back story. Earlier this week, June 21, 2023, marked the shocking revelation of Rose as Cindy Baele! For the past 25 years, Cindy was believed to be dead. But voila! The makers have found the perfect way to bring her back! Using her off-screen death as the basis of her return.
The EastEnders viewers have embraced Cindy’s return storyline with open arms and rave reviews on social media. In fact, Cindy’s return was so loved that viewers now want another dead character to be brought back! And it’s none other than Kush Kazemi. For the unversed, Kush was a character portrayed by actor Davood Ghadami on EastEnders from 2014 to 2021. Kush was Carmel and Umaz Kazemi’s son. In October 2021, Kush died amidst a fight with Gray Atkins. While the two were battling, Gray initially feel onto the rails. But Kush pulled him back before the incoming train could hit him.
However, EastEnders mega villain, Gray Atkins, took the opportunity to turn the tables and pushed Kush on the rails. He died instantly after being run over by the train. Later, the police managed to nab Gray and bring him to justice. Gray was found guilty of three murders, including his wife, Kush, and Tina. Kush’s tragic death marked the exit of Davood Ghadami from the long-running BBC soap. Ever since then, Kush made one appearance in 2022, when Martin Fowler recalls a conversation with him during a massive storm.
Can Kush Return To EastEnders?
After Cindy’s smooth return on EastEnders, fans are waging that he can be brought back to the show on the same grounds! After all, no one actually saw Kush die under the train! Thus, it is plausible that he somehow managed to roll over to the other side of the tracks and escape. While Grey just assumed that Kush died. However, another set of viewers has a different point of view. Some viewers actually recall that Whitney saw and identified Kush’s body after the tragedy.
But again, There is a possibility that Whitney misidentified a body as Kush on EastEnders! After all, how recognizable can a crushed body be? Hence, if the makers eventually do decide to bring Kush back, the possibility of a survival back-story is completely plausible. Owing to the simple fact that nobody saw Kush get crushed. On a lighter side note, some fans have also started a hashtag on twitter, called, JusticeForKush!
We wonder if makers would take it seriously if it caught their eye! What do you say? Would you like to see Kush back on the soap? Tell us in the comments. Meanwhile, stay tuned to EastEnders to see what happens next!
