BBC One’s EastEnders might be heading towards a twist that no one saw coming. By now, we know that Theo Hawthorne is in fact, Stacey Slater’s sinister stalker. Ever since he has entered Walford, he has been fixated on the Slater. At first he obsessed over the pregnant teen, Lily. But it soon became clear that he was only using Lily as a stepping stone to her mother, Stacey. As soon as he found his way to their home, he started to infiltrate Stacey’s life every way possible.
However, in the recent EastEnders episodes, the truth about Theo being her stalker and Edmund her online client came to her notice. She was rightfully horrified by the revelation. Thankfully, Martin and Eve reached her house on time and scared Theo away before he could cause any harm. All of this , while Lily was giving birth in the other room! Later, Stacey took the crazy tale of Theo’s sinister behaviour to the police. But to her dismay, the police told her that because of lack of evidence they had to let Theo go.
Basically, it was her word against Theo’s words on EastEnders. So as of now, Theo is out in the open, with a rather public obsession with Stacey. So the danger quotient is certainly rising for the Slater family. Interestingly, as soon as the truth came to light, Theo started to look like the most viable option to be the victim of the impending Christmas Murder. As teased by the Flash Forward earlier in 2023. It felt like that was the only logical next move from where the story is at.

However, after seeing the awkward look Lily gave Ricky when he took baby Charli in his arms,a new round of speculations have sparked! Until now, it is believed that Ricky is the father of Lily’s baby! But what if that’s not the truth? What if Lily is just using Ricky as a cover to keep the identity of the real father a secret? There is a chance that in a unforeseen twist, it will be revealed that Theo is actually the father of Lily’s baby. As disturbing as it would be, it would actually put in perspective why he was so obsessed with Lily when he first arrived in Walford!
