Days Of Our Lives Spoilers already teased Billy Flynn is going to make his way to Salem in the upcoming episodes. This has created a massive stir in the soap world. The actor revealed that he needed some time off to take care of himself and focus on his interests. The entire schedule of filming was becoming way too hectic, and he needed a break to streamline his life. Chad and Abigail were written out of the show last year. However, the writers wanted the storyline to stick around. This gave the actor the golden opportunity to get back on the soap.
Even though the actor did not like being written off in the first place, he wanted the entire incident to reveal his best self. He utilized the time in expressing gratitude, getting healthy and preparing himself to get better. Billy also lost his great-grandmother during this time and needed time to heal from the grief. He thanks this time away from work and states that he is a better actor now.

The couple is going to be back this fall. Even though fans thought that it was the last they are seeing of Abigail and Chad, the couple is returning to Salem to stir up the plot. Flynn has already mentioned that he is similar to Chad in many ways. Chad has been insecure and lost a lot in his life. He has an open and honest relationship with Abigail. But the character is a reflection of the actor’s life even though he is flawed in many ways.
Chad has been through a hell lot, and so has Flynn. When he was on a break, the actor turned to negative ways of coping with depression. Even Abigail and Chad went through a lot as a couple. They finally got married and have a beautiful relationship. However, despite the perfection, Billy teases that a lot of drama is yet to unfold in Salem after his return.

Overall, Billy is really positive regarding him playing Chad. He can now portray the character in the best possible way and bring the most out of him. He is really positive about his work and feels good.
