The Bachelor stars Cassie Randolph, and Colton Underwood are no more on the same page. Their relationship has gone haywire recently. As much as fans are shocked to know the recent developments, Colton is desperate to get back his lady love. The couple who was talking about their plans of engagements have suddenly called their relationship off. On top of that, Cassie filed a restraining order against Underwood. It seems that things have turned from bad to ugly between the two. Let’s have a look.
The Bachelor: Colton Announces The Breakup On Instagram
Around the start of this year, we saw Randolph and Underwood getting along well with each other. However, recently Underwood shared on Instagram that the couple broke up. He wrote that it’d been crazy months, but now the two are no more together. He further added that maybe, they were meant to be friends after all and it’s completely fine with him. Colton continued saying that he and Cassie have grown ever since they got together and this is definitely not the end. Rather, it’s the beginning of a new chapter for them.
Randolph Filed A Restraining Order, Accused Colton Of Harassing Her
Fast forward to September 11, Randolph ended up filing a restraining order against Colton. According to the official documents obtained by US Weekly, Colton is supposed to stay 100 yards away from Cassie, her workplace, and home. Reportedly, Cass accused her ex-boyfriend of stalking and harassing her ever since they broke up. He also sent her uncomfortable text messages, called her repeatedly, and ‘placed a tracking device on her vehicle.’ As for Colton, he wants to have Cass back in his life. According to an insider source, he felt bad after his ex filed a restraining order against him and all this is happening right in the public eye.
The Bachelor Promoted Toxic Masculinity
Although some may feel sad for Colton, he rightfully deserves the ending of his relationship. If we date back to his time on the show, he exhibited pretty volatile and obsessive behavior. However, the reality show portrayed it as a very sweet gesture. It was nothing but romanticizing toxic behavior on national television, which is simply not right. Colton’s alarming behavior showed up time and again on the show. The show might have earned ratings because of all the drama, but its support towards Colton’s negative behavior is nothing short of terrible. This has somehow propagated the idea of misogyny and toxic masculinity among the masses.
