Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer shared her bitter childhood memories. The later has faced rather difficult times. And has moved on too, but during a recent interaction about her old times, Leah got emotional. The 27 years old admitted about the same during an Instagram Q&A on Friday night. However, the MTV star is also excited for her upcoming memoir, Hope, Grace & Faith releasing on 5 May.
Leah Messer is best remembered for her contribution to MTV’s reality show Teen Mom 2. She basically belongs to Charleston, West Virginia. And is the mother of two kids, Ali and Gracie. However, she lost custody of both to her Ex-husband Corey Simms. Later, in 2014 Leah married Jeremy Calver. But the two separated after two years of marriage. They had a baby girl named Adalynn Faith. She lives with her mom, while Jeremy has visitation rights only.

The mom of three is very excited about the release of her upcoming book. And during the social media promotion of her book Messer candidly answered every question. Hence, when she was explaining her decision, she exclaimed that her actions would make sense to fans once they read the book. Referring to the reader, she said “They’ll understand the childhood drama and co-dependency in relationships. Almost everything I endured in my childhood from sexual abuse to physical abuse, and probably that was the hardest thing.”
However, the 27 years old did not name her perpetrator. But this was the first time Leah has opened up about her childhood abuse. However, for the moment, Messer is really excited about the upcoming release. The book is too close to her heart. And she’s leaving no chores to promote it. The reality star even answered several other personal questions during the interaction.
The MTV Star Also Talked About Her Father Gary Lee Miller
During her wedding to the second husband, Jeremy Calvert her father had made an appearance on Teen Mom 2. Talking about the same, she said, “With the opioid epidemic we are facing today, my dad always ties into that. In fact, I started doing my own research on when my dad started struggling with addiction. She further added, “My father broke his neck and back working on bridges in West Virginia. Later he went to some doctor for worker’s comp. That’s how my dad became addicted to the medication and still is to this day.”
As Teen Mom 2 viewers know, Leah struggled with substance abuse issues herself. During the show, Corey(ex-husband) accused her of drug use. In addition to that, she was caught slurring and falling asleep on camera. In June 2015, She checked into rehab though she denied drug abuse rumors.
