Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska is a doting mother of three children with the fourth one on its way. This would be her third with husband Cole. But Cole loves Chelsea’s daughter, Aubree, as much as his own. Despite not being her biological father, he gushes over the 11-year-old and is eager to adopt her. Recently, on Aubree’s birthday, the reality star shared a sweet post expressing his eagerness to adopt the 11-year-old on Tuesday, September 8.
Teen Mom 2: Cole Shares A Sweet Birthday Post For Aubree
Cole, 32, shared a series of photos on Instagram paying tribute to the birthday girl Aubree. The pictures contained some of the priceless moments Cole shared with Aubree. It included them picking apples from a tree, riding bikes, going fishing together and more. He wrote in the caption that it has truly been a joy watching the girl grow up into the beautiful, kind, and amazing young lady she is today. He further added that he loves her and would always be there for her!
The fans were emotional after seeing this post. One of them commended Cole for always showing up for Aubree. Another said that it’s admirable to watch you raise her and treat her like she is your own! I hope one day you are able to adopt her! To this, Cole smilingly said that he has his pen ready.
Teen Mom 2: Cole Is Keen On Adopting Aubree
Cole has expressed on multiple occasions that he would want to adopt Aubree. Back in 2018, Aubree had Cole’s last name and legally became Aubree Lind-DeBoer. By the end of that year, the father of two expressed his desire to adopt her if that was something she was open to. Come 2019, he again shared that he would adopt her right away. However, he won’t make her do anything.
Chelsea Wants Adam Lind To Stay Out Of The Picture
In 2019, Chelsea claimed that it would be best if Adam Lind, Aubree’s father, stayed out of the picture. She further said that she didn’t want to force any co parenting arrangement that could cause turmoil. However, Chelsea added, if Adam wanted to sign his rights over Aubree, she would for sure do it. At that time, he was only allowed supervised visitations with Aubree at a government facility. Similarly, Aubree was also allowed to visit Adam’s parents without him there.
