TLC’s Sister Wives star Kody Brown is a father of 18 children and has a couple of grandchildren too. With this big family, he receives a lot of love (almost 20 times) on occasions such as Father’s Day! The husband-of-four is likely to receive plenty of cards and gifts around the year. And there are a few children who shower love on him on social media. With this being said, have things changed in the past few years? Well, it does seem so. How The Brown Family’s Children Celebrated Father’s Day In The Past?
In the year 2019, Kody’s daughter Maddie, with Janelle, shared a heartwarming post acknowledging her father and her husband. The mother of two shared a picture from her graduation days with Kody and wrote a sweet caption. It read: “Couldn’t let the day go by completely without wishing this man a Happy Father’s Day! Thank you for being the best Dad a girl could ask for!” She further expressed her love for her father, who has been a rock-solid support for all his children.
In 2018, his other daughterMykelti, with Christine, posted a picture of Kody, her father-in-law, her husband, and herself. A lot of other children have either deactivated their accounts or set it to private. So, we don’t know if love for Kody came from there too.
Sister Wives: Kody’s Wives Admire The Father In Him
Kody’s wives have utilized their social media to admire Kody’s fatherhood. Robyn, who doesn’t stay socially active, always had something to say on Father’s Day. In 2015, Robyn gave a lovely shout out to the man who fathered her children so well. Christine and Janelle too chipped in. Janelle expressed how ‘engaged’ Kody stays with his children. Christine mentioned that the children are ‘blessed’ to have a father like Kody. The ladies didn’t seem to undermine Kody’s role as a father.
Sister Wives: How The Father’s Day Celebration Changed This Year?
While all these years saw love flowing from the family for Kody on the big day, this year went in the hush. None came forward to acknowledge Kody on this Father’s Day. Although the ladies have put up a rosy picture of Kody every year, this year, there was no noise. No admiration, no idolizing.
Even Kody’s children didn’t make an effort to make their father happy. Madison Brown put up a post for the man “who makes our beautiful life possible.” And this was for her husband, Caleb Brush. Meri Brown, too shared a picture of her late father remembering him fondly. However, no word of acknowledgment came for Kody. Nobody else seemed to take notice of him, as well.
Have the things inside the Brown family got bumpier? Or is it just the other problems plaguing the family too bad? Is it the effect of novel coronavirus?
