We know that Thore wanted Chase to spend time with her when the pandemic kicked in. However, he refused to come to her place for multiple reasons. He said that he has a bar business and he’d have to be there. He did offer Whitney to come over but she, too, turned down the proposal. Perhaps, the long-distance led the couple to fall out of love.
In the most recent episode of the TLC show, we see Whitney driving down to Chase’s house in Wilmington. Upon her arrival, she comes across a very cute card by Chase. So, Chase asked her to move in with him in Wilmington as reported by ScreenRant. However, what seemed like a grand gesture didn’t excite Whitney. She turned to the cameras and shared that Chase wasn’t intent on coming to Charlotte.
Why Chase Didn’t Move To Charlotte Amid Pandemic? What Went Wrong?
While Chase had his own reasons for not moving to Charlotte, Whitney had hers. She said that she didn’t want to go farther from her friends and family. Moreover, she was not willing to take a risk with her business, running in partnership with Ryan. It would have been a big decision for her to leave behind her business since she’s the boss. At the same time, Chase was also working hard to keep his business afloat. So, the two stayed apart for quite some time before Chase revealed that he got another woman pregnant!
Although the whole incident shook the fans, they did feel that the relationship was scripted. So, this breakup didn’t come as a surprise for many.
