No one loves to go back in the past, especially when it has been traumatizing for you. And Mama June’s daughter Pumpkin feels the same and does not want to relive the past. If to be completely honest, the 21-year-old reality star wants to leave the show. The show only brings backs the past struggle in her life. It never lets Pumpkin get over it. Moreover, she desperately wants to get over all the struggle and lead a normal and happy life. Will she be able to do so?
Mama June: Pumpkin Both Physically And Mentally Exhaust
Pumpkin, 21, has got nothing but a lot of responsibilities and distress in life. And it’s hard for her to be there in front of the camera and relive the struggle. Mama June’s daughter, Pumpkin, recently opened up all her hardship and future plans in an interviewer with ET. She stated, “It’s hard because I’m also trying to deal with it personally, and then I also have to film it.” Pumpkin has worked hard as a woman. The star also shares that shooting the current season, Mama June: Road To Redemption, has damaged her mentally and physically.
When June was away for rehab, Pumpkin was the one who had to care for all. She has a husband, a daughter, and a teenage sister to take care of. And the responsibilities have taken away the most prestigious years of her life. Now comes the time when Pumpkin has realized the loss and further wants to liver her life to the fullest. As the show always reminds her of all the past struggles and pulls her behind from moving forward.
Mama June: Pumpkin Is Ready To Turn Off The Camera And Say Goodbye To The Show
Even though the TLC show brings the major income in Pumpkin’s life, she doesn’t want to run behind money. Instead, she is looking for peace. Therefore, the 21-year-old star is planning to turn the camera off and say goodbye to the show. Pumpkin says, “Honestly, I want to go ahead and say goodbye if I’m completely honest.” Even though the star enjoys doing the show and its income, she can’t have a normal life with it.
Pumpkin is looking towards a more traditional job, like being a nurse or anything like that. But she clearly does not want to be there on the TV anymore. Many think Pumpkin’s life to be perfect and that she should not leave the show. However, the situation is not the same. The star does not get to celebrate the birthdays, can’t spend much time with Josh’s family, misses family reunions, parties, Christmas, and many other things.
Pumpkin also feels that the show ‘took away her childhood.’ She was there in front of the camera when of 11. It is frustrating for the star to recall that she didn’t have any moment to celebrate away from the camera or family drama. However, she doesn’t want the same now.
Pumpkin also does not want the same for her younger sister, Alana. She wants Honey Boo Boo to have a normal teenage life. We hope the star to make memories off the camera and find some job that could fit her happiness. Even if Pumpkin leaves the show, we will thoroughly keep the fans updated with all her life updates.
