Little People Big World: Zach And Tori Struggle With Raising Their Children

The recently released trailer of LPBW shows Zach and Tori Roloff’s struggle with raising their two children. The fans might note that baby Jackson and Lilah, too suffer dwarfism just like their father. Their parents have previously admitted that raising dwarf children is not easy. They need to take care of multiple things like temperature changes, etc. In the preview of the trailer, Tori is dumbfounded at her daughter’s health crisis.

Sister Wives: Tori Is Scared Of Lilah’s Health

In the preview clip, the mom of two says that she is worried about Lilah. While Tori is seated around the table with Zach, she shares that she feels that Lilah is in pain. Although the babies cry when they need food or need to be changed, Lilah’s cries alarm Tori. According to her, there is something more serious.

Tori further says that her baby girl is not feeling well for the past few days and just this morning, she woke up in a bad state. Somehow, Tori is trying to assemble the symptoms and arrive at a bothersome conclusion that Lilah probably has hydrocephalus. Zach clarifies the meaning of this truly worrisome word on the camera. It means a fluid build-up in the head.

The literal meaning of hydrocephalus is water head. It is caused due to a birth defect though others can develop it later in life. It essentially results in the build-up of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain. This condition has symptoms such as swelling or a rapid increase in head size. It is clear that the treatment drains out the excess fluid and many patients go on to live their lives with these shunts. Tori adds in the preview that if this is the case with Lilah, it would be really really scary.

Tori wants to protect her daughter against all the odds. At one pint in the trailer, she sobs uncontrollably and covers her face with her hand. Amy is right there and she gives Tori a bear hug comforting her. We understand how tough it is for a parent to see their newborn in a big problem. We do hope that everything goes right for little Lilah.
