Well, he loves his kids and grandkids and wants them to continue his legacy. Aside from the legacy of the Roloff family, the TV star also intends to leave some treasure for his grandchildren to find after he goes to heaven. Well, the recent episode was heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, as Matt buries the hidden treasures that include a lot of things close to his heart. Here’s all you need to know.
Little People Big World: Matt Roloff Buries Hidden Treasures For His Grandkids
The popular TV star is getting older and has been thinking about the time he might not be around his loved ones. In the recent episode, he even rhetorically talked about the situation if he passes away. Fans were heartbroken to see Matt all emotional, even though he’s fit and still very lively. Well, Roloff desires to keep his love and legacy alive with his kids and grandkids even after him. Hence, he discusses leaving some treasures in a special sandbox with his girlfriend, Caryn. She was quite concerned about Matt being all emotional about these things and assures him that he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
Later on, we see LPBW grandpa making special capsules to store the Matt Roloff treasures along with some precious memories. Alongside some valuable items, he also puts some notes in it. Other things in the capsule include a Bible (with some of his favorite verses), fishing hooks, survival things, and inspirational things. He wrote a letter for his grandkids, who’ll read it sometime in the future when they find the “Hidden Secrets” on the farm. Roloff writes that he hopes he’s still alive when they find the capsule. However, he also adds, “But if I’m in Heaven you that I am watching over you,” making everyone emotional.
Moreover, Matt also called in Zach’s son Jackson to help him stuff the capsule. They both collected things to put in the hidden treasure for the sandbox. Besides, he also asked his grandson to choose some coins to put in. He hopes that the grandchildren will be excited to find coins when they try to dig up the Hidden Secrets.
Little People Big World: Matt Wants The Roloff Farms To Remain In The Family For “Generations To Come’
There has been a lot of tension in the Roloff family related to the distribution of property. Well, there were rumors that only the favorite kid in the family would get to take over the farm. However, Matt revealed in an interview that he wants all his kids to be a part of the Roloff farms. He wants his children to each to have a portion of the farm and live together. Well, that doesn’t seem to be going on well as of now since Jeremy is almost out of the picture. He revealed that his offer to buy some property at the farm was rejected. However, the real reason is yet to get revealed.
Amid this, Zach and Tori now have the deal as they plan on occupying Little People Big World grandmom Amy Roloff’s share at the farm. Zach plans to work on the farm and move over there with his family. On the other hand, even though he’s not involved in the TLC show, it looks like Jacob has also secured himself a portion at his dad’s property for his composting. Well, there is a chance that Jeremy might also get his way in the coming future. Aside from whatever is going on in the family, Matt still wants all his kids to be involved in the farm. In fact, he even mentioned that in the letter he kept in the time capsule.
He discussed in a recent episode that he found comfort thinking about the Roloff Farm remaining in the family for “generations to come.” Moreover, he adds that he is sad because he won’t be on Earth to see his farm passing on in his upcoming generations.
