A series of rumors have surfaced online in the last few months related to the Roloff family. Well, a lot had been going on in the Little People Big World family, which led to plenty of false information growing up around them. However, Matt Roloff has finally stepped up to clarify some of these things. In a recent interview, he answered several viral questions related to the family. Amongst other things, he also revealed that he plans to distribute his property after his retirement. Here’s who is getting the shares to the Roloff Farms.
Little People Big World: Is Matt Roloff Retiring Soon?
There have been rumors roaming around the internet that Matt Roloff will soon be retiring. Some sources even confirmed that he would be retiring sometime in 2022. However, it turns out that’s not what Matt has said. The TLC star appeared on the YouTube channel First Class Fatherhood for an interview. He talked about several sensational things over there. However, when asked about retirement, Matt said that he isn’t sure about it. Although it’s his family that keeps on asking him about it, including his girlfriend, Caryn.
However, even though the topic has come up in the family, Matt says that he doesn’t have a certain plan as of now. He also only talked about it in the context of reducing the amount of work. As of now, there has been no serious real talk related to his retirement and has never discussed a timeline.
Little People Big World: Will All The Kids Get A Share To Matt’s Property?
Another rumor that has been doing its round has been the distribution of Matt’s property. Both Jeremy and Zach have shown interest in buying some property at the Roloff Farms. While Jeremy has mentioned it on his social media, some of the recent trailer of Little People Big World Season 22 features Zach talking about the same. Amidst this, some sources were speculating that Matt might favor one of the kids to hand over his farm. However, the TLC dad has finally assured he has no preference in who he’s planning to let on the farm.
In fact, Matt reveals that he’ll like to see all of his kids come together and come up with a mixed involvement to take over the farm. He wants them to create a corporation and share the benefits in the ownership of the property. Moreover, he mentions that in a form, all of his kids want a seed at the table. Even though some of them have more interest in the property, especially Jeremy, Matt says that all of the children want to be somehow involved. This could be an active interest or a passive one, but all of them will have their share. In fact, even Jacob is interested in composting, thinking of which Matt might let him have a chunk of the farm to do what he likes.
On the other hand, the Roloff dad also wants to sit down with his kids and discuss these things. It’s also written in his estate planning program as a shared endeavor. However, he’s also open to the idea that one of the children might think of having a bigger piece of responsibility. Hence, we will have to wait to see how that distribution happens. This section will be updated whenever the details come out. Season 22 of Little People Big World comes out today, on May 11, at 9/8 c, on TLC.
