But things don’t seem to fall in place for this ‘Little People, Big World’ star. She has confirmed that she has been traveling from Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Michigan.
Amy shared a picture of her parents saying that their Michigan girl is coming over. Just like the old days, she is going to make dinner for her family. Amy is constantly worried about her parents. As a matter of fact, she is growing old. And with that, an inevitable reality that her parents are growing older knocks the door.
‘Little People, Big World’: What’s Going On With Amy’s Mother?
Amy hasn’t specified the cause of her mother’s illness or the specific ailment. She says that her mom is doing okay. Amy is glad that she is there for her parents when they need her. She mentioned that she would have been more grateful if the reason behind her visit wasn’t her mom’s ill health. She loves visiting home. Amy made inner for her dad after visiting her mom in the hospital, and he loved it. Amy’s followers are praying for her mom’s faster recovery.
Previously, she visited Michigan in January for the surprise celebration of her mom’s 86th birthday. Her father celebrated his 90th birthday in August 2018 when Amy introduced her parents to Chris Marek. It was a lovely family moment. She is happy that her kids, their spouses, the children, all got to be there for the celebration.

Recently, she decided to accept a buyout for a part of the farm. Amy has raised her kids on the same farm for about 30 years. Even though there are a lot of memories attached to the farm, she has realized that it’s time to move on. She was dreading this decision and now wishes that it should have happened faster. But in the end, she took her time and Amy is glad that she took the right decision.
