Counting On fame Josh Duggar’s attorneys are not backing down when it comes to saving their client. Apparently, the controversial Duggar son wants his suspicious pictures removed from the child pornography case. His lawyers have stated that the pictures were taken in the absence of his attorney. They have also filed a motion to prevent those pictures from being used during the trial.
They also pointed out that the authorities who took the pictures didn’t have the warrant to do so. According to his legal team, the photographs were an intrusion of Josh’s personal rights. They think that that’s why they should be removed from evidence. Let’s take a detailed look at this.
Josh’s Scar In Suspicious Pictures
According to the court papers, Josh consented to have those pictures taken. It also stated that there is a plainly visible scar on his hand. When a search warrant was issued for this case, the pictures present in his device had the same scar on his hand. Since no one asked him to remove any article of clothing, it wasn’t a warrantless act.
According to The Sun, Josh asked for 7 days extension to respond to the argument the government presented about his hand pictures. His legal team cited the complexities in the case as the reason behind wanting an extension. They stated that there was some “potentially exculpatory evidence” that could easily exonerate Josh from the case. However, according to his lawyers, the government allegedly failed to preserve this. So, they also requested the dismissal of this case.
