Counting On star Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have finally broken their silence. They recently talked about the cancelation of the show on their official website. Their statement covered how 17 years have been for the Duggar family. However, the only thing which Jim and Michelle didn’t talk about was their son, Josh Duggar, and his child abuse case. Let us take a look at what things did the Duggars opened about.
Duggar Family’s Statement On Counting On
The Duggar family didn’t talk about the cancelation of the show before. However, now they came upon the digital platform to finally acknowledge it. The Duggars released their statement on their official statement. The sub-head of the statement says, “Family response to TLC’s announcement to no longer film “Counting On.”
Jim and Michelle explained in the statement how hard it’s unbelievable for them to see how quickly 17 years passed. The family started with doing a one-hour documentary, showing how to raise a family of 14 children. TLC then slowly spread the Duggars on national television. The Duggars further wrote, “the journey has been miraculous- following God is an exciting adventure!”
Furthermore, the statement claimed how Duggar families spent 17 wonderful years with fans and the platform. Duggars are happy to share their experience with the fans, whether it be good or bad. However, the only thing which stayed constant in Duggar’s life was prayers and deep gratitude towards Jesus.
Jim Bob and Michelle ended the statement by saying how wonderful it has been for them to see the family growing from kids to grandkids. The statement said, “We are forever grateful for our film crew and so many others behind the scenes who have become like family…” It looks like the wonderful years of filming days have been a treasure to the Duggars. And, they will undoubtedly preserve it for the generations to tell.
Counting On: Other Duggar Members Also Contributes Gratitude To TLC
Now when Counting On is officially canceled, each Duggar member is showing their gratitude to TLC in various ways. Fans already saw how Jim and Michelle Duggar brought up their statement on media. EW also reported Jinger Vuolo and her husband Jeremy showing their gratitude to TLC on Instagram. Both of them shared the same post on their handles. The post says, “We are grateful for TLC giving us the opportunity to be on their network over the years and their kindness towards the Vuolo family.”
Jinger further said that how remarkable her journey has been with Counting On. She also claimed to support TLC’s decision of not renewing the show wholeheartedly. Jinger then thanked her friends and family. She further gave a hint at the end of her note that she will be going with her creative journey to Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, cousin Amy Duggar King uploads a series of photos from filming days. She also thanked TLC for the wonderful ride. The star further quoted, “I’ll treasure the memories, always. Also, I stand with the network in this decision.” Although it seems that Anna Duggar didn’t have a word to say. She obviously is living in denial these days. Fans hope Duggar members, except Josh Duggar, to have a great future ahead.
