Derick recently tweeted about the coronavirus outbreak. He added that with all the time people have to spend in their homes might lead to more pregnancies. Of course, since it’s nine months to December, it’s likely that there will be more Duggar babies this year.
When one of his followers asked him whether it’s a hint for the couple planning a kid, he said that we’ll see with a wink emoji in the end. It definitely means that he is looking forward to expanding his family.
Counting On: Derick’s Previous Statement, Jill Won’t Be Expecting In 2019
When most fans started to believe that Jill was pregnant, she put an end to all the rumors. Even though Derick is indicating a future pregnancy, it doesn’t seem like Jill is carrying a child right now. In 2019, Derick was sure that there will be no pregnancy. This also led fans to believe that they might have been on birth control even though it’s against their religious values.
But we also know that the couple hasn’t been exactly following the norm lately. For instance, Jill wears modern clothing and is sending their son to a public school. Of course, the couple is likely to receive a backlash from Jill’s family over these, but fans are standing in their support.

Birth control is forbidden in the religion of the Duggars. They think that kids are God’s gifts and lives come as per God’s wishes. The concept of family planning nullifies this belief itself. However, Jill and Derick seem to be pretty sure of her pregnancies. This might indicate that Jill is on birth control when they are not planning to conceive.
