Stephanie and her girlfriend Erika are the first same-sex couple to be featured on 90 Day Fiance. Earlier, people thought that it’s a nice step to strengthen the LGBT community. However, now, it seems like it’s a marketing tactic by TLC to entice the male viewers and lure them into watching the show. Let’s take a look.
90 Day Fiance: Unnecessarily Stretched Kissing Scene
When Stephanie first came to Australia, she was wearing a mask. Before kissing Erica, she wanted to clean herself up first. When they ultimately kissed, the camera zoomed in closer and to many viewers, it seemed like a cheap dirty movie. This made some of the viewers think that it doesn’t seem like a step for the benefit of the LGBT community, but a tactic to keep the male viewers hooked.
Another thing is that Stephanie’s story also focuses on her coming out as a bisexual to her family. But she uploaded a video on her YouTube channel three years ago that reveals that she is a bisexual. However, in the current 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Day Season, we can see that her parents don’t know anything about their daughter being bi. Moreover, she seems to struggle to come out of the closet.
90 Day Fiance: Stephanie Worked As a Stripper Before Starring On 90 Day Fiance
When Stephanie was 24, she came to LA to pursue a career in acting. After some time, she started working as a stripper at The Palms Gentleman’s Club in Signal Hill, CA. But she had a bad experience as she revealed that being a stripper scarred her in many ways. Even though she hit rock bottom, Stephanie managed to come out of it as a better person.
She also sells her nudes for money and is definitely not ashamed of it. Stephanie doesn’t care about those who shower her with hate. She does what she does because it helps her meet her needs and fulfill her wishes.
90 Day Fiance: Stephanie Stuck In Isolation
Stephanie has a rare bone disease which has reduced her immunity to a great extent. In fact, her condition is life-threatening. When she told her family that she had to go to Australia, she was opposed to letting her daughter go owing to her health condition.

With the Coronavirus pandemic, Stephanie is isolated and is taking extra precautions. In one of her YouTube videos, she said that she is living with her mom in Connecticut where she feels safer. She is filming videos, eating cheese, watching crime documentaries, and hanging out with her dogs. Considering that she hasn’t been much of an extrovert, she doesn’t mind staying at home much.
Stephanie recently documented herself going for a nature walk with her dogs. Even though most people might be having a hard time dealing with isolation, Stephanie is fine and in her own world.
