Alaskan Bush People patriarch Billy Brown and his son Bam Bam went to jail on account of lying on Permanent Fund dividend applications. The father-son duo pled guilty to second-degree unsworn falsification. This act of theirs was condemned as a misdemeanor and resulted in them going to jail.

Billy and Bam Bam had to go to jail for pleading guilty of lying on Permanent Fund dividend applications. Under the plea deal, the two would have to pay back the dividends they got. Moreover, they would have to give up their rights to get a dividend again. Additionally, Billy and Bam need to complete 40 hours of community service work.
James McGowan, Billy’s attorney, argued against punishment for the 61-year-old. He hinted at Billy’s seizures and kidney conditions. However, Juneau Superior Court Judge Philip Pallenberg said that Billy is not the first person with medical conditions coming to the court.

Later, he had to give up on his family fortune. He spent his life wandering and doing odd jobs.

Billy’s son, Bam Bam, grew up on the family’s fishing boat. However, the son has now moved away from Alaska. He started to branch out on his own. Currently, he is dating the former producer on the show, Alli Kagan.
