Ed met Kaory through his friends and seems excited about his new connection. Though they have texted each other frequently, they never met in person. Thus, to see her, Ed decided to fly to Mexico. Well, he did that before too for his ex-girlfriend Rose. As for her, he flew to Phillippines. But she dumped him later. However, he believes Kaory is older than his exes, so that she wouldn’t do the same. He also said on the camera that he knows he’s rushing. But he likes thrill in moving fast speed. The 56-year-old also brought his mom Norma on the trip. But decided to stay in two different rooms.
So, if something happens with Kaory, he could have his private space. The celebrity also mentioned that his mind is currently racing for about a hundred hours. What if she doesn’t like him? While Ed is currently appearing in The Single Life to find someone for him, he recently announced his engagement with his ex-girlfriend. Well, he still had feelings for his on-again and off-again girlfriend, Elizabeth “Liz” Woods. She reached out to Ed when his beloved dog Teddy passed away. Shortly, they rekindle their love. On this, Ed said he never appreciated her and didn’t want to love anybody else.
He explained that it was a surreal feeling and he only wanted to be with her. Then, in November 2021, he announced his engagement with Liz. The announcement came just after the couple’s breakup drama aired on Discover+ as a spinoff. A month later, Ed stated that it was time to propose to her. He, in fact, asked her, “Am I your forever?” To which she replied, “Yes!” Later on, he revealed that she bought the biggest diamond for her from the jewelry store.
