Riley flew to Vietnam to be with Violet and evaluate the future of their relationship via the 90 Day Fiance franchise. The series of her sketchy behavior began when this mom of two adorable girls lied about her being divorced during the initial phase of their relationship. Similarly, there have been several instances where she sounded mysterious on the show. One such instance was when Violet denied staying in a room with her long-distance boyfriend.
She then clarified that, according to her culture, it is inappropriate to sleep with a man before marriage. Riley wanted to discuss something with her. But she dismissed his plan by claiming that she wanted to enjoy her first night with him and that they could clear things up later. He traveled for a total of 37 hours to be with Violet in Vietnam. Sadly, he wasn’t well received by her. However, the Vietnamese 90 Day Fiance star expressed her emotions, stating that she wishes their bond to grow. But Violet told Riley that she was busy with a mission at school and would only meet him for dinner.
This gesture was certainly mean on Violet’s part, for she doesn’t seem to value Riley’s efforts of traveling 8000 miles to spend time with her while she already has plans. Violet even did not appreciate Riley for his gift. He surprised Violet with Pearl Jewellery and expected her to react more than thanking him with a kiss on the cheek. She later mocked his gift by stating that Pearls are not rare in Vietnam and even added that she is not a fan. Well, Violet has received a lot of criticism ever since her 90 Day Fiance debut, but many fans defended her on this topic in the comments of the video. 90 Day Fiance: Riley Is Uncertain His Future With Violet!
In a recent episode of Before The 90 Days, Riley expressed he was upset. As Violet made other plans while he made efforts to be around her. During a Facetime call with his friend Tiffanie, he claimed that he was unhappy as Violet left him alone. Then Tiffanie expressed her concern that she might be with another man. Then Riley stated, “I want to believe that I’m the only man that’s in Violet’s life.” However, he added that her behavior is making him really question her fidelity. He then added that Violet was very adamant for him to delete the dating app they met each other but was herself using the app until recently.
He even told Tiffanie that he had bought a commitment ring for Violet. But would only give it to Violet if she showed that she was as serious and committed to him. Later, in the same episode, Violet changes her plans and goes out with Riley. He asked her if she had any idea how he felt as she decided to leave him alone when he traveled to Vietnam for her.
