90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Sumit Is a Free Man, Will They Convince His Parents?
Sumit is now legally free to marry the love of his life, as per Cheatsheet report. But his parents have made it extremely clear that they are never going to accept Jenny. In fact, they will also object to their union in every way possible.
Considering that Sumit’s parents will leave no stone unturned in preventing Sumit and Jenny’s wedding, they are still not fully in the clear. Initially, Sumit was hiding the fact that he was married to another woman from Jenny. His parents arranged marriage and eventually forced their son into it. Out of respect for his parents and for the sake of their happiness, Sumit went through with the arranged marriage.
But he wasn’t able to maintain the charade any longer and decided to get a divorce. His in-laws didn’t make things any easier as they asked for a hefty sum in return. His wife even filed a complaint of abuse against him. Sumit’s father revealed that he had to take money from his relatives and friends to pay off his wife’s family. They didn’t agree to drop the charges initially but eventually, they did. The divorce has been finalized and Sumit is a free man.
But he is still trying to convince his parents to accept Jenny. Even if they file for court marriage and their parents object legally, their union will be in great jeopardy. His parents feel that Jenny is too old for him and the relationship is awkward downright. They also can’t have grandkids considering Jenny’s advancing age. But according to Jenny, Sumit doesn’t want to have kids anyway. So, that is not a problem for the couple but his strict parents refuse to budge.
