Sumit is in a situation where he has to choose between his parents or Jenny. Sahna made it clear that he can’t have the best of both worlds in this case! As for Anil, he was absolutely aghast by the fact that Sumit was marrying whoever he wanted. He even angrily asked him to get someone older than Jenny! Sumit was clearly frustrated and he broke down into tears begging in front of his parents.

It was then she said that she needed to go back to America as it was too much. She didn’t want to be the reason behind such a situation in his family.

Even though the chances of the Indian couple approving of his son’s choice of spouse are slim to none, Jenny’s cooking skills might tip the scales in her favor. Sumit has been working part-time as a chef and he didn’t fail to impart some of his culinary skills to Jenny. It looks like Jenny learned preparing ‘kheer’ a traditional Indian dessert. They must have spent some quality time in quarantine learning more about each other.
The American grandma has been decking out Indian attires and now she has taken over the kitchen. Most Indian weddings are not considered 100% blessed if they don’t serve kheer at the occasion. Now, even though it looks like there is no way Sumit’s parents will ever accept Jenny, who knows? Her cooking might change their minds!
