Since the beginning of their relationship, Michael and Angela have been through a lot. From Angela’s verbal abuse to Michael’s attempts to assert his dominance over her, they have been together through thick and thin. Finally, the couple has tied the Knot and they are still planning on living the life they dream in the US. But will the recent immigration rules after the pandemic hit the world let them live their dreams? Let’s take a look.
USA Bans Immigration From Nigeria
When Michael previously applied for the K1 visa, it got rejected. The couple was heartbroken but still, they had some hopes. The lawyers said that if they got married in Nigeria before trying to move to the States for the second time, the chances of visa approval will increase to a great extent. This prompted Michael and Angela to tie the Knot and apply for the spousal visa.
In one of the recent episodes, Angela told Michael that they have already wasted enough money on the K1 visa thing. As soon as they got married, she said that she wanted to apply for the spousal visa right away. However, the American native received heartbreaking news when her daughter told her that her mother has been unresponsive. She later told Michael that she will have to return to the US to be with her mother during her final moments.
Later, in February Angela confirmed the death of her mother. If she did apply for the visa as she said in January, it has been eight months. The delay in application processing is pretty obvious. Moreover, Trump has banned immigration from Nigeria which makes things further difficult for the couple.
Will Michael And Angela Get To Be Together In The Us?
With the new Visa rules in action, the couple is likely to encounter many more difficulties than they initially imagined. As we can see from the recent episodes, things have been going really well between Michael and Angela. But if Michael’s spousal visa gets rejected, there is a chance that it could mess with their perfect love.
Even if they do decide to stay together Anjela would have to move to Nigeria. From what we have seen from the beginning, Angela is not a fan of the culture in Nigeria. They expect women to be submissive to their husbands which is far from Angela’s personality. Do you think the couple could last for the long haul if they stay in Nigeria?
