90 Day Fiance celeb Molly Hopkins might not get a chance to laugh at her ex, Luis Mendez. There are rumors that the US government is planning to deport him back to the Dominican Republic. According to some reports leaked by inside sources, Mendez’s immigration status doesn’t look bright.
90 Day Fiance: Luis Used Molly For Green Card
If the fans might recall the beginning of Molly’s season, she was a fan-favorite and continues to be one. Her friends and family disliked Luis for some obvious reasons. According to them, he used Molly to get the green card. Later, Molly had to agree to this. In the Jimmy Kimmel Live last year, Molly admitted that her ex-husband Luis planned to divorce her and to marry another woman all along. Now, she is pretty sure of it. Luis even accused Molly of “witchcraft” because she has Buddhas, owls, and candles among her home decor. This happened right after three months of them getting together.
Molly And Luis Never Had A Real Wedding
Things fell apart quickly between Molly and Luis. However, it didn’t stop the couple from marrying each other. Despite her family’s warnings, Molly went ahead tying knot with Luis and didn’t reveal it to friends, family – and TLC producers. However, fast forward to 2017, Molly spoke on the camera that the couple didn’t have a real wedding. In fact, Luis ‘pressured’ Molly to marry him when they first met with the officiant. He didn’t want to wait for a proper ceremony. But as we know, Molly’ tossed’ him out of her house very very soon.
Luis Remarried Within Months of Divorce
After all the prolonged drama, Luis was back to Molly’s house. However, he didn’t stay for long. Soon after his divorce in 2018, he married another woman. She lives in the US but belongs to DR. That makes Molly believe that it was all staged and ‘arranged.’
If this drama was not not enough, we have a bomb to drop. After two years of Luis’ remarriage, there is news of his deportation. After all, Molly brought him to America. Now that they two are not together, she has every right to withdraw her application supporting him. Until his new wife gets permanent citizenship, there is no way for her to ensure sponsorship of his permanent immigration status.
Since it has been two years now after Luis walked out on Molly, it appears that he will be deported soon. What do you think about Luis’ immigration status? Would he be deported? Comment below.
